Voting Information

There are several ways for you to vote in Chicago this February. The important dates and times are listed below. If you have any questions or need assistance getting to a polling place, please fill out the form below and someone from the Gardiner Team will contact you. 

Mail-In Ballots

Mail-In Ballots or what we used to call "Absentee Ballots" allows you to vote without leaving your home. In order for you to vote by mail, you must apply. Applications must be received by Thursday, February 21, 2019 at 5pm.

Early Voting - Downtown

Early​ Voting begins in the downtown Loop Super Site on Tuesday, January 29th. If you are registered to vote, you do not need to bring an ID, but it is recommended in the event that there are questions with your registration information or signature. Hours for the Loop Super Site are as follows:

  • Tuesday, January 29th through Saturday, February 2nd - 9am to 5pm

  • Sunday February 3rd - 10am to 4pm

  • Monday, February 4th though Saturday, February 9th - 9am to 5pm

  • Sunday, February 10th - 10am to 4pm

Early Voting - Ward Locations

On Monday, February 11th, the individual ward locations across the city open for citywide Early Voting. Any voter registered to vote in Chicago can vote at any of the ward locations. You do not have to vote at your ward's location. Please feel free to use the location that is most convenient for you. Hours for Ward Early Voting are listed below along with the complete listing of ward locations.

  • Monday, February 11th through Saturday, February 16th - 9am to 5pm

  • Sunday, February 17th - 10m to 4pm

  • Monday, February 18th through Friday February 22nd - 9am to 7pm

  • Saturday, February 23rd - 9am to 5pm

  • Sunday, February 24th - 10am to 4pm
